2017 Venice Workshop

The 27th Workshop took place on June 16 and 17, 2017 in Venice.

The keynote speeches of the Workshop were delivered by Adam Posen (President, Peterson Institute for International Economics), Kim Holmes (Acting Senior Vice President for Research, The Heritage Foundation), and Daniele Franco (State Accountant general, Ministry of Economy and Finance).

Furthermore, Dominique Moisi (Senior Counselor, Institut Montaigne) addressed the attendees on the theme "Europe after the French elections", while Martin Indyk (Executive Vice President, The Brookings Institution) spoke on "Main challenges for the transatlantic relations". They were moderated, respectively, by Jim Hoagland (Contributing Editor, Washington Post), and Gianni Riotta (Columnist, La Stampa).
