2015 - Yearend dinner of the Italian Alumni

The year-end dinner for the Alumni of the Young Leaders Program took place on Monday, December 14 in Milan (Italy).

The guest speaker of the event was Massimo Sterpi, founder and senior partner of the law firm Jacobacci and member of the Council for the US and Italy. A passionate art collector, Massimo Sterpi has developed a unique and internationally well-known practice in art law, representing world famous artists, institutions and collectors. The title of his speech was: “The secret world of international contemporary art”.

During the evening, Anna Simioni, Executive Director in the Milan office of The Boston Consulting Group, talked about the book “Smart Simplicity”, that shows a modern approach to solving business problems. According to The Boston Consulting Group's Complexity Index, business complexity has increased sixfold during the past sixty years, while organizational complicatedness has increased by a factor of thirty-five. Smart Simplicity shows how to improve performance by managing the new complexity of business without getting complicated.
